Seniors planning on attending Coastal Carolina University: This is a reminder that there is scholarship money ("free money") available to qualifying seniors through the Horry County Higher Education Commission (HCHEC) Scholarship program. The DEADLINE to apply has been extended to March 15, 2014. All Horry County seniors who are considering enrolling at CCU in fall 2014 are encouraged to review and complete the 2014-2015 HCHEC Scholarship Application (click HERE to access the application). This is a unique opportunity for renewable financial assistance. The scholarships are valued at $2,500 annually and may be renewed each academic year provided the student meets specified criteria.
