The Mighty Jacket Awakes from Summer Break

Mr. Brown and Mr. Mendez are focused and ready for school.
AHS Cheerleaders welcome all Aynor area schools' faculty and staff to AHS.
AHS choral students perform for the welcome back ceremony.
An AHS senior poses during senior portraits.
AHS band students welcome the superintendent.
Dr. Elsberry speaks at the welcome back ceremony in the AHS auditorium.
With August 22 fast approaching, the Jackets' Nest is buzzing with activity. Teachers returned on Thursday, August 11 for staff development and by Monday, August 15, the halls at AHS were bustling. Parents and students interested in their schedules for the upcoming year--some still registering; teachers getting their rooms ready, printing syllabi and attending school staff development; athletic practices in full swing; senior pictures in action; and with the arrival of our superintendent for a welcome back message to all of the Aynor area schools, our cheerleaders, band, ROTC and chorus students were back in action welcoming Dr. Cindy Elsberry to the heart of the Jackets' Nest. The Mighty Jacket is once again coming to life from a much deserved summer break for students and staff alike. Welcome back to everyone!

With the start of school less than a week away, a few reminders for the Jacket Family:

4) Don't forget to come out and support all of our athletic programs. We will post our athletic schedules here on The Blogging Blue Jacket for you!
