Desktop Publishing and Business Applications Classes Enhance Presentations through Digital Imaging Editing

Aynor High students in Mr. Dean Johnson’s Desktop Publishing and Integrated Business Applications classes are learning the value of image editing software applications.  Such programs as G.I.M.P ( a free program) and Photoshop allow students to learn the tools that allow standard images to be manipulated and enhanced.  With enhanced imagery, multimedia presentations and projects can be significantly improved in order to engage viewers, audiences and participants.  From brochures, flyers, newsletters and Power Point presentations to video and web-based projects, students learn the value of aesthetic appeal, engagement strategies and successful marketing.
