Congratulations to Kaitlyn Calder (center) and Hunter
Johnson (right) who were the big winners in the third annual Aynor’s Got
Talent competition. Kaitlyn sang Calvery’s Hill and was
accompanied by Hunter with back up vocal and guitar. Scout Haselden
(left), who sang Free to be Me, won second place. Scout was also
the recipient of the Musician’s Choice Award which was voted on by members of
Aynor Elementary’s Blue Pan Jam. The competition features performers from Aynor High and
winners are determined by a live audience vote. The event has become a
community favorite over the past three years and is sponsored by the Broadcast
Journalism class. Congratulations Blue Jackets!!
